Omni is Nikko Patrelakis’ 6th personal album. Nine genre-agnostic electronic tracks that form a continuous story, about “all that matters” or about life without its contemporary restrains and predefined directives. Conceived around Greece, in tall forests and secluded preserves, in deserted factories and remote mountaintops. Realized in Nikko’s studio in Athens, during 2023 and 2024, with him experimenting with the core of sound, both technically and aesthetically, to produce his idiosyncratic sound that he refines during the last 35 years of composing and producing.

In Omni, forms are fluid, pure electronica blends with classical minimalism, acid sounds travel through orchestras, without guilt, without norms and necessary paths, a kind of creative freedom Nikko needs to convey.

For the upcoming live performance of Omni, Nikko created nine full screen videos, filmed alongside the production of the album, trying to capture the coexistence of wild nature and human civilization, the perpetual conflict, the inevitable results. This filmed open scenery and human structures are mixed with evolving digital systems that are trying to interpret the conflict, to compile it in a demonstrative way through nature’s geometry and mathematics.

For the needs of the video production, Nikko traveled in remote and secluded natural reserves around Greece, all through 2024, documenting the way yet unharmed public spaces are transforming due to human interference and its residues.
